The Infrastructure
On-Chain Structured Products
Have Been Missing

$300 billion sits onchain in stablecoins, but launching a compliant crypto neofinance still takes 18+ months and a 30-person team. Every founder rebuilds the same stack from scratch: KYC, vault integrations, rewards engines, referral systems, and frontend.

City Protocol ships all of it as one composable platform. Partners pick the vaults, chains, and identity providers they want, then go live with a branded earn-and-rewards product their users actually come back to.

We provide the infrastructure. You own the brand, the customers, and the relationship.

How City Protocol Works

City Protocol is an on-chain structured products platform — the open infrastructure layer for neofinance. It is built as five connected layers: tokenization, vaults, issuance and operation, APIs and SDKs, and attention. Partners use these layers to turn a yield source into an onchain product with a stated methodology, run that product from issuance to redemption, and offer it to users under their own brand. City Protocol's tokenization and vault solutions are customizable and work across major blockchains, RWA and strategy providers, and distribution partners.

01

Tokenization Layer: Turning Yield Sources into Onchain Products

City Protocol's tokenization layer turns yield sources into onchain products that can be distributed to investors. Offered to partners as Tokenization as a Service (TaaS), it provides prebuilt tokenization modules for institutional strategies and real-world assets (RWAs). City Protocol publishes its reserve proofs on a public proof-of-solvency page at city.accountable.capital, where partners and investors can check them. Investor access is managed through KYC, whitelists and permissions, and finished products can be routed to partner platforms, DeFi protocols and investors.

02

Vault Layer: ERC-4626 Vaults with External Strategy Curators

City Protocol's vault layer is standardized infrastructure for launching and operating yield vaults, offered to partners as Vault as a Service (VaaS). Vault designs can be tailored to a partner's requirements. The vaults follow ERC-4626, the standard for tokenized vaults, so depositors receive shares that represent their portion of a vault's assets. External strategy curators decide how deposited assets are allocated. City Protocol vaults follow a five-step cycle: deposit, verification, allocation, monitoring and redemption. City Protocol also maintains a curated catalog of pre-integrated vaults covering strategies such as delta-neutral basis trades, lending, tokenized RWAs and long-short trading.

03

Issuance and Operation Layer: Methodology, NAV and Lifecycle Controls

City Protocol's issuance and operation layer packages tokenization and vault components into investable products. Each product has a stated methodology, a net asset value (NAV) and lifecycle controls that run from issuance to redemption. The layer keeps issuance records, aggregates NAV, applies methodology rules, and handles rebalancing, reporting, subscriptions and redemptions across City Protocol vaults. It is designed for product types such as stable-yield products, tokenized Treasuries, RWA baskets, market-neutral vaults and multi-vault income products.

04

APIs and SDKs: The Neofinance Layer

City Protocol offers its financial features to partners through APIs and SDKs, a part of the platform it calls the neofinance layer. Partners use these interfaces to build City Protocol vaults and products into their own applications, choosing which vaults to offer, to which users and in which markets. City Protocol's documentation is published at city-protocol.gitbook.io/docs.

05

Attention Layer: Distribution, Discovery and User Participation

City Protocol's attention layer handles distribution, discovery and user participation for products built on the platform. It helps partners' products get discovered and gives their users ways to take part, for example through community campaigns. Among City Protocol's five layers, the attention layer is the one where finished products meet their users, after the tokenization, vault, issuance and API layers have done their work.

Venzo: City Protocol's Vault Product Brand

Venzo is the brand under which City Protocol's vault product operates. Venzo Finance offers curated strategy vaults and onchain token portfolios (OTPs). Its vaults use City Protocol's vault infrastructure: ERC-4626 share vaults whose strategies are managed by external curators. The Venzo app is at app.venzofinance.com.

Who City Protocol Is For

City Protocol is built for two kinds of partners: those that supply yield and those that bring products to users. RWA and strategy providers use City Protocol to turn their yield sources into onchain products. Platforms and distribution partners use City Protocol to offer those products to their own users under their own brand, choosing which vaults to offer, to which users and in which markets, and investors reach the products through those partner platforms. In both cases, City Protocol provides the infrastructure and works with partners on customized product needs, while partners keep their brand, their customers and the relationship.
